My question is ~ Will you be my child? ~ John 1:12-13
Picture this scene:you are standing before God on judgment day and He looks you right in the eye and says, "Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his followers."
I want you to think of the horror that will engulf you. You have just been sentenced to eternity in hell and there is no recourse. There is no court to which you can appeal the sentence. This is the ULTIMATE death sentence.
We read in II Thessalonians 1:6-9 the following: "God is just. He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with His powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of His power." It is so critical that each of us understand that this life is temporary and that eternity awaits.
The good news is that Hell does not have to be my home. The good news is that I can hear the Lord say to me, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joys of your Lord." Heaven is not an empty dream but will be reality to all who follow Jesus. The greatest need that I have is that of salvation. I NEED to have Heaven as my home. I NEED to have God as my Father. I NEED to have Jesus as my brother. In short, I NEED salvation.
The question that I must answer is how do I receive salvation? Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me." We read in Acts 4:12 that salvation is only in Jesus. How do you receive this salvation? There are many things that you need to do and you can learn about salvation through the word of God.
To study the word of God with clear understanding, you will need to ask him for wisdom. It's by reading and meditating on the word of God that will give you a clear understanding regarding the Lord's will for your life. The teachings that you will study from his word do not come from the mind of man but rather from the mind of God because the word of God is centered around him. I encourage you to atleast once a day begin your studies of the Bible so that you can fulfill the need of God for your life.
If I were to ask you the question: "what is important in life", how would you respond? Undoubtedly, some would say that their family is important and I would agree. Some might say that their occupation is important, and that might be true. Still others would argue that their standing in the eyes of others is important, and I would disagree with that.
Importance is determined by the ultimate impact that a thing will have on you. The family is important because the relationships that we have with the members of our family can and will impact us for the course of our life. An occupation may be important because it will impact the way in which we are able to provide for our loved ones. Our standing in the eyes of others is not important because that will have no lasting effect on us.
Let me tell you something that is really important: FAITH! I know that faith is important because we read in Hebrews 11:6; "without faith it is impossible to please God." Did you hear that? It does not say that 'without faith it is difficult to please God' or 'that without faith you will not be able to completely please God' but 'that without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God'.
When I read this text I come to understand that faith is really, really important to my eternal condition. The next question would be: 'how do I get faith'? The answer to that is found in Romans 10:17 where we read that 'faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God'. If I want to please God I must have faith and if I want faith it will come from an understanding of the Word of God.
By studing the word of God, you will learn how to build up your faith and live for God. As you study, by the help of God your faith will grow stronger and you will be able to please God our father who is the Lod of Host. It is my hope that you will begin studying God's word for your self very soon and see how he will impact your life!
I've Got A Secret!
I must confess that I really don't have a secret; I was just hoping that the title would catch your attention. What I do have is some really great news! GOD LOVES YOU!
I want you to think about that for a minute. The very one who created the universe, who is eternal, who has all power loves you! In our lives we have many people who love us: our parents, children and friends. I am thankful that I have a family and many friends who love me, but I am ECSTATIC that God loves me.
How can we know that God loves us? Well, I could quote many scriptures but I prefer to paint a picture for you. In this picture we see the Son of God leave Heaven to come to the earth. He was born in poverty and though a king, was treated like the lowliest of people. He went about doing good, healing people, loving people and showing kindness in so many different ways. The picture becomes ugly, however, as we see man take him and severely flog Him. We see man repeatedly punch Him in the face. We see man place a crown of thorns on His head. We see man strike Him on the head with a stick. We see man spit in His face. We see man mock Him. Finally, we see man lay Him on a cross and drive nails into His hands and feet. We then listen as He utters these words, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."
Why did Jesus suffer to this degree? The answer is because He loves YOU! That's right, the Son of God loves you! He died because He wants you to spend eternity in Heaven with Him. Would you like to learn about the love of God for you?. Ask him for a clear level of understanding that will inable you to search deep into his word and unearth the truth about God's word for your life. You will study of the love that the Lord has for you and will discover what you must do to inherit eternal life. I look forward to here about you discovering the love that God has for you. Hmmm, I'll say women of GOD that are planted in the things of the Lord and not women that are involve in the things of the world cause the Bible says that eventhough we who are GOD's children live in this world but we are not of this world. I admire women of GOD that are commited to the things of GOD cause the word of GOD says that we should redeam the time cause the days are evil. One of my inspiritional mothers that always keep me on my feet when she takes the stage to promclaim his power and goodness is Prophetess Juainita Bynum. I love her spirit and always love to here her speaking. I'm moved when she starts to preach the word of GOD. The Lord moves in a mighty way when his word is being send out to his people.
Well, I don't think I have any cause as children of GOD, the Lord instructs us to love everyone even when they make us mad at times cause our Lord Jesus Christ when through worst and the same word of GOD states that greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. Love is the most thougthest one among all of GOD's commandments. For the bible says that it's not by might and it's not by power, but by the spirit of the most high GOD. So, if we allow the spirit of the Lord to dwell within us and help us love him Jesus with all of our hearts, than we will have no problem loving our fellow man because it is he Christ that will be doing the work on the inside of us, I don't think I'll have any turn offs. The time is here and it is now so we have to be very carfull with the life we live cause anytime the Lord can cut us off but the question is what happens next!!!! it's just going to be you alone standing before the Heavenly Thron of the most high GOD answering questions for your sins commited on the Earth.....are you safe? Forget the big cars, houses, and pleasure of this world cause just how they come is how they all will vanish away....HELL IS REAL and it's waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!GOD bless you. Prayer and Angels
In scripture, God hears the prayers of his people; our prayers empower God�s angels to interact on our behalf to advance the kingdom of God. One of the great examples of prayer and warfare is in Daniel chapter 10. Before we go there, lets look at a recent story as reported in the book The Invisible War, by Chip Ingram.
The missionary was serving as a medic in Africa. Periodically he had to travel by bicycle through the jungle to a nearby city for supplies. It was a two-day trip, so he would camp in the jungle overnight. He had always made the trip without incident, but one day when he arrived in the city, he saw two men fighting. One was seriously hurt, so he treated the man, shared Christ with him, and went on his way.
The next time the missionary traveled to the city, the man he had treated approached him. �I know you carry money and medicine, the man said to the missionary. �Some friends and I followed you into the jungle that night after you treated me, knowing you had to sleep in the jungle alone. We waited for you to go to sleep, planning to kill you and take your money and drugs. As we started to move into the campsite, we saw twenty-six armed guards surrounding you. There were only six of us, so we knew we couldn�t possibly get near, and we left.�
When he heard this, the missionary laughed. �That�s impossible. I assure you, I was alone in the campsite.� But the young man pressed the point. �No, sir. I wasn�t the only one who saw the guards. My friends saw them too, and we all counted them.�[1]
Later as the missionary went home to his home church in Michigan and told his story, someone in the church stopped him and told the following. He said the following to the meeting.
�On that night in Africa it was morning here. I stopped by the church to get some materials for a ministry trip. But as I was putting my bags in my trunk, I felt the Lord leading me to pray for you. I was an extremely strong urge, so I got on the phone and gathered some other men to come to church and pray for you� Then the man turned to the rest of the congregation. �Will all of those men who prayed with me that day stand up right now? And one by one they stood up�all twenty-six of them.[2]
The missionary could relate to Daniel, who sheds light on just such an incident. In Daniel 10, Daniel is praying and fasting for 21-days. The Persians had just defeated Babylon, and Cyrus the Persian King had allowed the Jews to return and the Temple to be rebuilt. However there enemies of the Jews in the Persian court, who wanted to prevent this, Daniel understood the battle was spiritual not physical.
Daniel was in his eighties, at this point in his life. He prayed and fasted for 21-days with no answer. Finally, an answer came from an angelic being who explained the events to Daniel, why there was a delay.

Well, I'm a tall young Liberian guy from Grand Bassa county and is currently based in Maryland. I love to read the word of GOD, play sports and hang out with people of GOD. I'm currently in school and by the grace of the father I want to specialize in the science area. I'm almost done with my associate degree and about to transfer to a university to acquire my pre-med if it's the Lord's will. I will like to ask lots of my fellow Liberians who had just entered collage and other universities but are not too sure as to what major they're interested in to please consider the science area due to the shortage back home. I'm also anticipating this level to rise sky high in couple of years to come and if we that have the opperturnity don't do something, we could encounter huge problems. Those of us that are out of the country and residing in other western countries are much fortunate than those that are back home. The Lord brought us here for a reason so Lets think about it for a while and do something.
